#1. Dial in your sleep.
Yes, before a sweet little baby comes in her and distrupts the heck out of it.
Both partners, in bed by 11pm at the latest (really let’s aim for 10pm), in a dark, cool room. No TV on, no screens, no blue light. If you need to know how to hack your sleep - we have two great blogs all about this.
#2. Get your labs checked. Both parents. In depth.
That means not just popping into your regular GP and getting their yearly check. Full functional workups will reveal what your starting line is, and prevent so much heartache, struggle and stress later in your fertility and concpetion journey.
#3. Stop drinking alcohol before you start trying to get pregnant - both partners.
Full stop. I said it.
You can blame me, you can get butt hurt, you can even debate me - but I promise I’ll win on the facts. Alcohol is not good for hormonal health and fertility for either partners.
#4. Take a good, hard look at your stress levels and nervous system.
If your nervous system is dysregulated, it will compromise everything.
#5. Decrease your toxic burden in the ways you can control.
