The science, made simple

So… what actually
are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks your body already uses to run everything from tissue repair to hormone signaling. They're not foreign to your biology. They speak your body's language.

Think of them as highly targeted messengers. A peptide protocol doesn't flood your system — it gives specific cells specific instructions. Heal this. Regulate that pathway. Calm this inflammatory cascade. Optimize that hormonal signal.

Your body makes peptides constantly. We're using pharmaceutical-grade, precisely dosed versions — compounded through 503a pharmacies to the same standards as your prescription medications — to direct that signaling more intentionally.

And yes — insulin is a peptide. People have been injecting peptides medically for over a century. This isn't fringe biohacking. It's just finally getting the clinical respect it deserves.

Peptides signal your body to:

  • Accelerate tissue healing and reduce recovery time
  • Reduce systemic and gut inflammation at the cellular level
  • Support collagen synthesis and skin quality
  • Optimize growth hormone release and metabolic function
  • Regulate immune function and inflammatory pathways
  • Improve metabolic health and insulin sensitivity
  • Support longevity pathways — healthspan, not just lifespan
  • Improve body composition as a downstream effect of hormonal optimization

Who peptide therapy is for

Does this sound
like you?

The people who get the most out of peptide therapy come from surprisingly different starting points. Here's who we see most often.

The high performer who's hit a ceiling

You train hard, sleep decently, eat well — but recovery is slower, gains have stalled, and inflammation feels like a constant tax on your performance. You're not broken. You're asking more of your body than a standard protocol can deliver.

The woman navigating hormone changes

Perimenopause, post-pill hormonal shifts, fatigue you can't explain, skin and tissue changes — peptides work alongside foundational hormone support to address repair, inflammation, and metabolic regulation in a way that goes deeper than hormone adjustments alone.

The biohacker ready for a real prescription

You've done the research. You know what BPC-157 does. But you're not comfortable buying from a research supplier with no QC, no dosing guidance, and no medical oversight. You want the real thing, done properly.

Anyone investing in how they age

You're not trying to reverse time — you're investing in how you feel at 50, 60, 70. Protecting tissue integrity, metabolic function, immune resilience, and the energy to live your actual life. Longevity medicine is preventive medicine.

Why this matters right now

The peptide market is having a moment.
Not all of it is good.

Peptide therapy has exploded in popularity — and with it, a wave of unqualified sources, research-grade compounds with no sterility standards, and social media influencers prescribing protocols they're not licensed to recommend. People are injecting substances they can't fully identify, at concentrations they're guessing at, with zero medical oversight. We've seen the fallout. It's why we built this.

The sourcing problem

Most peptides sold online — even from reputable-looking companies — are research-grade: manufactured without pharmaceutical sterility standards, with inconsistent purity and unknown contamination risk. "99% pure" printed on a website label is not the same as 503a pharmaceutical compounding.

The dosing problem

Without a prescription and a medical team, most people are guessing at dose, timing, and cycling. Peptides are potent — underdosing wastes money and delivers no results. Overdosing creates the exact problems you were trying to solve.

The protocol problem

There is no universal peptide stack. What works for a 34-year-old woman managing perimenopausal inflammation is completely different from what a 45-year-old male athlete needs. Your protocol should come from your labs and your goals — not a Reddit thread or a gym trainer.

At Navigate Wellness, we believe you deserve access to safe, prescription-grade, medically supervised peptide therapy — without having to piece it together yourself from questionable sources. That's exactly what we've built.

The Wolverine

Our foundational healing and recovery stack. BPC-157 and TB-500 are among the most studied peptides in tissue repair research — working together to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and support recovery in a way neither can achieve alone. Ideal for injury recovery, chronic inflammation, and as a starting point for most new clients.

Is this right for you?

Peptide therapy is powerful.
It's not for everyone.

We screen every client carefully — not to gatekeep, but because peptide therapy is genuinely potent and contraindications exist for real clinical reasons. Here's what you need to know before you apply.

Peptide therapy is not the right fit if you:

  • Have a personal history of cancer (context-dependent — please disclose fully)
  • Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have uncontrolled hypertension
  • Are actively trying to conceive (discuss with our team first)
  • Are in an active autoimmune flare (some protocols may require modification)

Peptide therapy may be a great fit if you:

  • Have chronic injury, slow recovery, or persistent inflammation
  • Are in perimenopause, menopause, or navigating hormonal shifts
  • Are optimizing for longevity, performance, or body composition
  • Want a safe alternative to gray-market peptide sourcing
  • Are a man looking to optimize recovery, testosterone, and performance
  • Already work with a trainer or provider and want to add peptides safely

If you don't qualify for peptide therapy right now — we'd still love to work with you. The Hormone Intensive is designed to address the foundational imbalances that often create contraindications in the first place. Many clients use functional medicine to get their health to a place where peptide therapy becomes the clear next step. Explore our other services →

What they're saying

M.H., peptide therapy client

Peptide therapy at Navigate Wellness has not only helped me in the gym and on the pickleball court, but I have more energy and more restful sleep. They do a great job of customizing your protocol for your goals and checking in on you as you move through your cycle. Highly recommend if you're looking for guidance and purity with peptides.

K

I was nervous to try peptides because there's so much information out there, but working with Dr. K and Dr. B's team gave me the confidence to try a small stack. I appreciate that they checked I was fully weaned and done breastfeeding before moving forward with a peptide prescription. I feel more like myself than I have in years, finally back down to my normal, healthy weight and I'm not constantly dealing with some small injury after a workout. Thank you Dr. K!!

K.S. · Highlands Ranch, CO
B

Dr. K did a great job helping me understand why it was important to cycle peptides, which ones can be used together, and how to do a GLP safely and avoid the side effects I had when I tried Ozempic last year. I'm really happy with the results and I'm finally putting on muscle while losing fat.

Dr. Krystalyn Lowery, DC — Navigate Wellness

The person behind the protocol

This isn't new
for Dr. K.

Dr. Krystalyn Lowery began her career in diabetes and genetics research at the University of Minnesota — studying the very cellular signaling pathways that make peptide therapy so effective. She understands this science at a molecular level, not just a marketing level.

Her father was a Type 1 diabetic who injected insulin — a peptide — his entire life. The idea that targeted peptides are some fringe experiment isn't something she's ever believed. Medically supervised peptide use is as old as modern medicine. What's new is the noise around it.

She's been using peptides in clinical practice and personal performance optimization long before they became a social media trend — and long before the gray market made them genuinely dangerous. Navigate Wellness has offered NAD+, B12, and glutathione injectables since 2017–2018. Peptide protocols are simply the next, most logical layer.

What makes this moment different is the partnership with our integrative NP team — licensed across all 50 states — giving us the full clinical infrastructure to offer this the way it was always meant to be done.

Got questions?

We've got answers.

Are peptides actually safe?

When sourced correctly, prescribed appropriately, and monitored by a qualified medical team — yes. The safety concerns in today's peptide market come almost entirely from research-grade compounds, self-prescribed protocols without labs, and dosing errors from unqualified guidance. Our protocols use only 503a pharmaceutical-grade compounds, are designed from your actual labs, and include ongoing medical oversight throughout your protocol.

How is this different from buying peptides online?

In almost every way. Peptides sold online — even by professional-looking companies — are typically research-grade: manufactured without pharmaceutical sterility standards, with inconsistent purity and no clinical oversight. Our peptides are sourced exclusively from 503a compounding pharmacies, which operate under the same regulatory framework as your prescription medications. You also get a real medical team behind your protocol, not just a product shipped to your door.

Do I need to do the full functional medicine program to access peptide therapy?

No. The Medically Managed Peptide Therapy path is designed specifically for people who don't want or need a full functional medicine program. If you already have your foundational wellness dialed in — through another provider, a trainer, your own solid habits — you can access peptide therapy as a standalone service. Your intake survey and labs give us what we need to prescribe safely and effectively.

What's included in the initial lab evaluation?

Your foundational lab panel is customized based on your intake survey, gender, and goals — but typically includes CBC, CMP, thyroid function, inflammatory markers, and relevant hormonal baselines. For men, we add testosterone and cardiovascular markers. For women, we include a hormone panel appropriate to your cycle phase or menopausal status. Lab costs are included in your initial evaluation fee.

How does the Loom lab review work?

Once your labs are back, Dr. K records a personal Loom video walking you through your results — what they mean, what they indicate about your biology, and the rationale behind every element of your custom protocol. You watch it on your own schedule, rewatch as needed, and ask follow-up questions through the membership portal. No scheduling a call just to be told "your labs look fine."

Is peptide therapy available for men?

Yes — and honestly, men often see some of the most significant results. Performance optimization, recovery, testosterone support, and body composition are areas where peptides shine. The intake process for men is streamlined (we focus on cardiovascular health, hypertension screening, and testosterone alongside the standard workup). The Wolverine stack and CJC-1295/Ipamorelin are common starting points for performance-focused male clients.

Where is peptide therapy currently available?

All 50 states. As of May 2026, our partnership with an integrative NP group means we have licensed prescribers available nationwide — so wherever you (or the friend or family member you're thinking about referring) live, you can access the same medically supervised peptide protocols, the same clinical rigor, and the same care.

What if peptide therapy isn't right for me after I apply?

We'll tell you — clearly and kindly, with a path forward. If the intake survey or labs reveal a contraindication, you'll receive guidance on next steps rather than a form rejection. For many people who don't qualify right now, the Hormone Intensive is the right starting point — addressing the foundational health issues that are creating the contraindication and getting you to a place where peptides become the clear next move.

Ready to stop guessing?

Your protocol is waiting.
Let's build it properly.

Take the Peptide Profile Survey — it takes about 10 minutes, it's completely free, and it's the first step toward a custom protocol designed for your biology, your goals, and your actual life. Not a Reddit stack. Not something your trainer Venmo'd you. The real thing, done right.
